Since 1886 the Sisters of the Divine Compassion, in collaboration with laywomen and men have listened to the cry of the poor and marginalized and have responded in accordance with the needs the times have called for: education, parish ministry, pastoral care, counseling and spiritual development, outreach to the migrant and the rural and urban poor; always and in all things with the awareness that “…not only are we recipients of the divine compassion, but that God will let us take this divine compassion into our hands and extend it to others.”
