Sister Deborah Flaherty

 

Sister Deborah Flaherty, RDC, formerly known as Sister Mary Aloysius, entered the congregation on September 8, 1961, making final vows on June 29, 1969. 

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Good Counsel College and a Master’s Degree in Library Science from Catholic University in Washington, D. C.  Sister holds a Certification as a Public Librarian Professional.  Sister taught grades 2 through 5 at Good Counsel Elementary School and Our Lady of Sorrows School in White Plains, NY and St. Lawrence O’Toole School in Brewster, NY.

She has worked at the Good Counsel Academy Book Center in White Plains, Good Counsel Academy High School and the White Plains Public Library as a Librarian.
