Compassion Heals a World of Violence...
The main goal of this program is to provide one-on-one extra learning support in the areas of reading, writing and math at a greatly reduced cost in an effort to reach out to those who are in need. This will enable each student to improve his/her grades and test scores. Each student will be matched with the appropriate instructor, supervised by a teacher. The focus of this program is to provide remedial help to children in need in grade 1 through 8. Our program provides necessary assistance to the students to complete most, if not all, of their homework, as well as preparation for standardized tests and academic enrichment. The program runs Monday through Thursday from 3:45PM to 5:45PM at Good Counsel Campus, 52 North Broadway in White Plains, beginning in October. Minimum participation is two hours per week, which may be two subjects. $30 per hour; must enroll for 8 week minimum. One-time non-refundable registration fee of $40 must be submitted with application. Special consideration given to families with more than one child enrolled at the same time. Our program is located on the beautiful Good Counsel Campus, located in downtown White Plains, near convenient public transportation.
